SEBI Board clears norms on P-Notes

The Board of capital market regulator SEBI on Thursday approved the draft regulations on offshore derivative instruments (ODIs), including Participatory Notes (P-Notes). M. Damodaran, Chairman of SEBI, said at a news conference in Mumbai that the proposal to disallow P-Notes with underlying as derivatives was cleared.
